How To Get A Boost Of Energy Naturally

Need a boost of energy to get you through the day?

We all do from time to time, some days more than others.

If you sit at a desk all day, in front of a computer at work or school, it can sometimes get kind of difficult trying to stay awake.

A little boost of energy just might do the trick.

We were looking around for natural ways to boost energy and came upon these solutions.

Maybe one is good for you!

The alternative sources of caffeine…

Try yerba maté or guarana. —Arrietty Gray

Doctor’s note: Yerba maté tea’s caffeine content is roughly the same as coffee’s, but guarana is twice as strong—keep daily doses between 200 and 800 mg.

The do-anywhere fix…

Rub the edges of your ears between two fingers from the very top all the way to the bottom a few times. —Chris Padilla

Acupuncturist’s note: In traditional Chinese medicine, the upper part of the body is associated with more active energies. Massaging the ears increases this energy, creating a sense of wakefulness.

The green remedy…

Sip a shot of wheat-grass juice. —Ursula Harrington
